One Thing Then Another~ Sarasota and Key West

Sarasota was interesting and nice.
No photos are available to share, however,
accommodations were like being inside a beautiful painting. My camera is never adequate to pack it up to bring home.
Then, on the other hand, when in ordinary accommodations, am focused outside and to nature. Again, no abruptness invades unless man-made.

Photo taken at Bahia Honda, the Florida Keys~
Notice coconuts ready to fall...and there I am.

This little house is built off shore about 100 yards from the Pier to the house we lived in when in Key West. There are many "residences" built off shore in the Keys.

Exciting reading + pictures scream of a well-matched group of friends. In KW why in the world do people build houses out in the middle of the water? Do they swim around instead of walking around the house?!?!

Answer: If house is not on land, they avoid city and property taxes. Many people live on boats, especially sail boats. All have a dinghy to go back and forth to the island to work or for needs. Some are recreational only. This particular little house is in very shallow water as most are.

Memories ~ Life is a great trip!
