Daughter Jane taken as singer Pete Wentz unexpectedly jumped into the crowd from the stage. She had a blast at the After the Correspondents' Dinner Party which was Saturday night in DC.

TV News hounds and Photographers didn't miss a shot. Celebrities filled the room ~ you name them and they were there. President Bush spoke at the dinner but skipped the party. General Casey was there as well as Colin Powell circulated among celebrities and guest. Jane and her friend had the fun of arriving in limo and walking down the red carpet amidst hundreds of flashing cameras for this spectacular event. WHAT FUN!

Jane with~ you'll recognize Morgan Fairchild :)

I saw much more of the event on "Inside Edition." WHY wasn't I invited? No one would have loved it more.

Awesome coverage of the night!!! A true highlight of my Spring!! Very much a "Cinderella" night! Magical. Everywhere I turned it was wall to wall celebs and White House staff...each one by themselves, I'd have been excited to spot, but to talk and mingle and dance with them was beyond exciting! Pinch me!

You're so right "why wasn't I invited..."I saw some of it on various news and shots of Bush's antics (the most humor I've ever seen from him). Jane certainly does resemble her mother...And, I also read the Sat. entry about Life Stories...nice entry -

Am impressed...and yes, she looks like her mother. And, her dress is beautiful! Is she in some form of news or was she a guest of the one she was

It has taken me awhile to say so, but I really enjoyed the pics of Jane at the Correspondent's Dinner in the Washington Post. She was really in the middle of things up there.
